This past weekend one of our Siege athletes was in a serious car accident that has left her with a long road for recovery.

A Senior at Patrick Henry, Mackenzie was one of the first athletes we had come train with us and was always one of the hardest workers in the gym. She will be attending University of Lynchburg in the fall where she has earned a spot in their Doctorate of Physical Therapy program and has also received the highest merit scholarship they offer.

Mackenzie is extremely tough & is ready to attack the recovery process to get back to playing the sport she loves. Such extensive recovery of course comes with large medical bills. We ask that if you have the means, please consider donating to their gofundme(link in bio), as anything would go a long way!

We are in awe to have built such a strong community of people who are willing to help others in times like these. It does not go unnoticed, and Mackenzie/her family are extremely grateful!

We’re excited to announce the addition of Lindsey Booth to our Siege staff! Lindsey will be running a girls only Group Fitness class as well as helping with our Sports Performance athletes.

Lindsey grew up locally here in the Hanover area. Throughout her childhood she was involved in a variety of sports and went on to play soccer for Longwood University’s Division 1 Women’s soccer program. There she earned a degree in Kinesiology with a focus in Exercise Science. Her passion for athletics took her down to a Tampa, Florida professional athlete training facility where she specialized in injury prevention and bridging the gap between physical therapy and sport specific training. She worked with some of the top athletes in the world. Including; NFL, MLB, MLS, Gold Medalists & Special Forces.

Although her focus was in athlete training, she also led both individual and group circuit training classes. During her time there she was able to get experience working with all different ages and types of individuals. She is driven to help everyone meet their own fitness goals while making sure proper methods of training are used to keep everyone healthy.

Brody is a freshman soccer player at Patrick Henry. Every day he comes in with an attitude to get better and work hard. A month and a half ago he came in with no weight room experience. Now he loves it and strives to get better each week. He continues to trust the process and gets better everyday! We are excited to see what is in store for him in the future!
