Old Grizz Racing

Old Grizz Racing Old Grizz Racing, is named after my late grandfather. I’m new to racing and looking forward to the journey that comes with it! Old Grizz was my grandfather. Two!

I know what you're thinking, but I am not Old Grizz. My grandparents left PA in the 70's and headed to Alaska where they worked on the pipeline, hunted, had a sporting goods store and lived for 40 years. In his younger days, my grandfather raced and I purchased their 1998 GMC Sierra which was also known as Old Grizz to tow our trailer. The name pays tribute to him. I grew up listening to Williams

Grove on Friday nights and when the air was right, Silver Spring. I loved going as a kid. My college girlfriend and I would go to SS most weekends during the summer. I have a daughter that's loved going and now goes on her own with friends. My dream in life has always been to race a 410 and while I'm not sure I ever will, I asked why should that stop me from racing? So here we go! What's better than one racecar? I guess that makes it a team. I will be racing a 600 Micro Sprint and Jacinda will be racing a Slingshot by Tobias.

Back in business after the fuel pump wasn’t getting a signal from the ecu. Nash at Hyper Racing took care of me and got me back running.

Here’s the feature race, forgot to put it up last night. Brian is okay just a little frustrated with track differences on getting the black flag. The one tire ended up being completely flat upon return to the trailer. We aren’t sure at this time what caused it yet.
