Next up Champs!

Champs is on July 18th at OFRC. The meet will begin at 9:15am.

So far, the Grinder Cafe coffee truck and Pelicans will return this year.

Entries will be due on Wednesday, July 15th by 12pm (noon).

We will go with the following timeline:
After entries are submitted on Wednesday.
Please have any changes back by 10am on Friday, July 17th.

The final heat sheet will be sent around 1pm on Friday and we will begin printing everything

Volunteers: A signup genius has been created for all volunteers to use to sign up for their positions. Each club should provide the following numbers of volunteers, if able: GSRC-14, OFRC-18, ROCK-13, DSC-13, ACC-6.

Printing: Olde Forest will print heat sheets for all volunteer/work positions. We will also provide pens, pencils, highlighters, clipboards and all other office supplies needed from the Champs stock. Please print your own heat sheets for your coaches. We will not have heat sheets for sale.

Warm-up Times (15 minutes per team):
7:45am-8:00am - OFRC
8:00am-8:15am - GSRC
8:15am-8:30am - ACC
8:30am-8:45am - DSC
8:45am-9:00am - ROCK

Volunteer Meetings:
8:15am - Stroke & Turn (all shifts) Mr. Jim would like to have contact info ahead of time. Space is provided on the form.
8:30am - Clerk of Course (all shifts)
8:45am - Timers (all shifts)
*All meetings will be held in the office.

Other Info:

See attached map for location of team seating and general setup of the pool deck. Each team will have a sign with their logo on it to indicate their seating section. (Same as last year)

We will set up text communication for the Clerk of Course and have signs posted around the club. More information to come.

We have enough tattoos for heat winners.

Our snack bar will be open this day.

Clean Up - Please ask a few of your folks to help with cleanup after the meet such as moving furniture and cleaning up trash.

Tonight Meet Info:

First home meet so please read through and pay attention to details below.

📋 Dogwood families are welcome to enter the pool at 5:00. Check-in and mark up swimmers. Ready to get in the water at 5:20.

🚘 Parking: Dogwood families are to park over at Biscuitville. If you run out of room, you may park at CVS. We keep our pool parking lot free for the away team, ACC.

🌭Food & Drink: Families are welcome to bring in coolers and whatever food or drink they would like with the usual restrictions of no glass and no alcohol.
We will have a pool snack shack open - CASH only!

🪑Seating: We will reserve the area on the north side of the pool, closest to the CVS and under the big shelter, for the away team. Please DO NOT SIT IN THIS AREA. Dogwood families may use the lounging chairs around the end of the shallow end of the pool or the upper deck. You are also welcome to bring tents and camping chairs and set up anywhere in the grass.

⏰ Warm-ups: Dogwood will warm up from 5:20-5:35. Meet will begin at 6pm.

NO PRACTICE TOMORROW MORNING!The forecast doesn’t look too good for tomorrow morning. It is supposed to rain throughout all of our practice times so we will go ahead and cancel practice for tomorrow so that you can plan accordingly.

Limited quantity of swim caps and magnets for sale. We will have them at the meeting tonight. Caps $5 each and magnets $1. Cash or Venmo.
