As Memorial Day Weekend comes to a close, all of us at Whispering Pines would like to sincerely thank everyone who spent part of their holiday with us.

Most importantly, thank you to the veterans and active service members who have sacrificed so much for our country. Your courage, dedication, and service are deeply appreciated — not just this weekend, but every day.

We were honored to have you on the course.

This past Friday we had a pretty special work crew from the Crawford Christian Academy. It was Mrs. Pizer’s 5th grade class. It was the school’s Servathon where students go out into the community and do various jobs or projects at different organizations. We battled the 40 degree temperature and drizzling rain but got a full day of work in followed by some lunch in the clubhouse. Congrats to the staff, teachers and parents of these kids, they were well behaved, worked hard and maybe had a little fun?

The past 2 days at the Pines has been very busy! It’s Spring aerifying but this year with a twist. We tried a little different process and I think we’re all pleased with the finished product. Time will tell…
