Dutch started 4th but got a killer start and found himself in 3rd where he finished. The two youngsters that beat him are wicked fast, but dutch kept em honest.

Dutch qualified 3rd and finished 3rd in a REALLY fast field. Gonna try a few things tomorrow to make us a little faster. Coolest thing is that the Grandson came down to help out. Might make a race mechanic outa him!😜

The Folsom kings are getting bigger and starting to get on the bite. We had a pretty good day today(by Folsom standards). The kings preferred the Christine special cut plug behind a white pro troll Flasher down between 40 and 50 ft. At 2.5 mph. We scored 3 kings, a 19, 21, and this 23+ incher. The rainbows were biting too, at around 20 ft. The rainbows were hitting orange GVF draggins and apexes at 1.5 mph. Everything was in front of the dam today. The water looks good considering the last few storms, with a little debris and a olive green tint. Final score, 4 bows to 19 inches, 3 kings. All released but this big bleeder that swallowed the cut plug past his gill rakers, and wasn't gonna survive.
