Meade golf course had the pleasure of hosting Coach Mosier and his Friends University team this morning.
They are on their way to Hobbs, New Mexico to play in a tournament there and he wanted to show them our course on his way through town. I think number one Green got the best of them, but we won’t talk about that.
Brad and the Thriftway store are going to serve them lunch sometime this afternoon. Thanks to the Little for letting them use your carts. It was sure good to see Coach.

Come on out and enjoy a round of golf with us as we remember our good friend Mac and hopefully make another generous donation to the Midwest transplant service.

The new golf season has begun! Get your significant other and join us for our first couples night. We will tee off at 5:30 with potluck to follow hoping some of our new members will join us. The greens were aerated Monday and Top dressed with Sand so the greens are not going to be what you are accustomed to, but hey that doesn’t mean we can’t have fun and enjoy a great meal come on out and join us at 5:30.

The golf course annual meeting will be held on March 8 at 5:30 PM. This is a great opportunity for our membership to give feedback to the Board of Directors for the upcoming golf season. There are also some vacancies on the Board of Directors and it would be great to have some folks step up and get involved and help keep this course in the excellent shape we’ve grown accustomed to. Come out and join us please.
