You will pay for all entry fees ON SITE with CASH at the race. Payout will be in cash each night!

EXHIBITIONS & RIDE SESSIONS:
These are very limited! They are available on the online entry form. If you sign up for them and you do not make it in time, you are still responsible for paying for the session/exhibition you signed up for!
-Ride Sessions: 25 minutes w/ the barrels up. $15 per person. Limited to 10 in each session. No ponying allowed. 1:30pm & 2:00pm options.
-Exhibitions: 50 total available each day. 60 second time limit. $5 per exhibition. 2:30pm & 3:00pm options.

EARLY DRAW OPTION:
Under the orange "Extra Fees" Tab, there is the option to pay $5 per horse to be guaranteed in the first 50 of the race each day!

RACE FORMAT:
P*e Wees at 3:45pm, then ALL CLASSES RUN TOGETHER! Open, Youth, Senior start at 4:00pm.
P*e Wees - straight payback
Open, Youth, Senior - 1/2 second splits, 4D format
$1000 Added each day.
Average buckles in all classes. Target time buckle. Must run same horse/rider combo both days to be eligible for buckles.
BBR/WPRA/BRF Approved. NBHA KS10 Co-Sanctioned for attendance only.

DRESS CODE:
Western Hat/Helmet and a Long Sleeved or Collared Shirt. If you have Mock NFR items from the 2025 cancelled event, you can wear them at this show to waive the dress code.

Purchase stalls and dry camping (generator only) ON SITE at the stalling office if you did not pre-purchase them on the KSF website.

KANSAS STATE FAIR BARREL RACE 2026
$2000 Added, 14 Buckles, BBR/WPRA/BRF Approved, Mock NFR style pattern!
September 14th & 15th, 2026
Information you may need to know!

ENTRIES:
Pre-entries are open from 12:00pm on 9/8 to 12:00pm on 9/13.
Go to www.sgpevents.net to get pre-entered!
Pre-draw will be posted in the evening of 9/13.
Entries are paid with CASH ONLY on site.
If you do not pre-enter, you can still enter on-site. You will most likely run after pre-entries unless we have open spots available.

STALLS & OVERNIGHT CAMPING:
If you did not pre-pay for your stalls or RV spots through the KSF website, you can buy your stalls on-site and plan to bring a generator if you are staying overnight in your trailer in the lot to the east of the fairgrounds. No tie-outs allowed. You will purchase stalls and dry camping (no electricity) on site at the stalling office.

PARKING:
ENTER FROM GATE 10 ONLY (Southeast corner of fairgrounds)
Come from the south, 17th & Plum, to get to Gate 10. You will park in the TAN PARKING that is east of the Grandstand/north of the Expo Center. We have never run out of parking space for this event, so don't worry! It is $10 per trailer to park inside. If you do not want to park inside, there is 'free parking' to the east of the fairgrounds on the south side of Parking Lot C. (Limited spots)

RACE FORMAT:
This is TWO SEPERATE RACES on Monday and Tuesday. $1000 Added each day. All classes run together after P*e Wees! Early draw option for $5.00 to be guaranteed in the first 50 under "extra fees" on the entry form. You must run the same horse both days to be eligible for average buckles.

COGGINS AND/OR CVI REQUIREMENTS:
Reminder, ALL horses on grounds at the Kansas State Fair MUST have a current negative coggins. This is the only requirement if you're coming from in-state.
If you are coming from out of state, you need to also have a CVI/Health Certificate within the last 30 days that will need to be confirmed by the on-site state veterinarian at the fairgrounds.

Today is race day! Thank you to the Howland's and PTCC for watering and prepping the arena for us the last couple nights!

Only 9 spots left in the early draw option under 'extra fees'!

‼️ATTENTION- HIRING BARREL SETTERS‼️

We are currently looking for 3 barrel setters for the State fair race on coming up! It will pay $15/hr and we would like to just get 3 people to set BOTH days. If you are planning to run at the race you will be in charge of finding someone to cover you barrel while you do so!

We need at least one setter starting at 2:30pm for exhibitions, the other setters will need to be there by 3:30pm!

⭐️Each barrel setter will get a gate pass for both days, however if you are not already hauling a trailer to come run, you will have to park in regular parking!⭐️

First race of the Finally Fall Barrel Series is THIS Thursday, September 3rd at Prairie Trail CC Arena in Haysville!

New barrel pattern staked as of 8/31/26 at PTCC. We ripped the stake at the 3rd barrel on 8/30 at the KSC4D race (fortunately had the previous dimensions saved so it was easy to reset) so this gave me a reason to restake the pattern for the 6th time in 10 years of putting on races there 😂. We try really hard to make the pattern here as user friendly as possible. After many trial and error patterns/set ups, I ‘hope’ these dimensions make it better for you guys. There’s more stopping room before the hold pen & timer line, wider opening to the alleyway, and the pattern is a tad wider and little further in the arena to help your approach to the first barrel.

You only need to make ONE run and pay the nomination fee to run at the Added $ Clean Slate Finals in October!
