Congratulations to our client and new friend Isaiah. You took a shot booking an OTC Javelina hunt in the most challenging areas the state has to offer and it paid off in the final hours. This story will be one we will tell around the campfire for years to come. What seemed like a near impossible task the good lord blessed us with opportunity. At 7400 ft of elevation you harvested your first Javelina and its a great boar. High country Javelina hunting was a grind and major challenge but, what an awesome experience. Congratulations to Jeff and his son Maxx on some mature Javis! They gave us a run for our money this trip but we made it happen. Tons of fun mixing it up with the varmint call during the day. Lots more coyotes to get after. We are offering predator hunts and they are a ton of fun. We went 3/6 on sets one afternoon and even called in 4 within 2 minutes! Congrats to Maddi on her first big game kill! Maddi and her dad came down to give the Javis a whack after quick success with dad last year. The weather was a factor in finding the pigs today. Thick cover is what they sought and that’s exactly where we found them. Maddi made quick work and smoked this nice boar. Congratulations again and see you next time! Opening day success for youth!

Well this was a first! We found a hour old lion kill on the trail we walked in on Friday morning when we came out Friday night. Looked around and sure enough eyeballs were staring at us 20 yards away. The next morning the dogs were ready to work and smoked this lion on the trail. Not often do you get to catch a lion with dogs first thing in the morning and kill a stud coues buck in the afternoon. What a day to remember!

Congrats to our good friend and client Joey on his stud Arizona Desert Mule deer he harvested with us this past week. This hunt took tons of patience. We knew where this buck liked to hangout and his route he liked to travel but for days he gave us the slip. This old warrior buck finally did what we wanted him to do and Joey dumped him in his tracks at 400 yards. What a thrill it was to finally put our hands on this 157” old, heavy sweet character buck. Congrats again and can’t wait til next time!

Congrats to OSO’s very own Gunnar Johnson on his October coues buck. After passing many bucks on day one this great looking buck stepped out and his good buddy Bryce picked him up first thing on day 2. At 600 yards bedded the opportunity was too good to pass on this stud coues buck. Gunnar proned out with his 6.5 prc , a set of , and at 600 yards the rest was history. Seamless shooting systems and shooting schools from make a long range shot so much easier. What a great buck to start a journey of future hunts in some new country.

Congratulations Andrew on your first deer! Andrew and his dad called in search of a first deer. We passed some bucks on day one. Then day 2 we knew weather was going to be an issue for the rest of the hunt. So now our eyes were set on any nice buck. We were able to meet some good people and locate some bucks to go after for both kiddos to shoot. At just about 700 yards both of these young men got their bucks. With a 6.5 prc from and Andrew, the combo made this shot look easy. Nothing tells a story like a big smile with their first buck! Congrats to both boys. Andrew thanks again for hunting with us. With the help of our cherished client, OSO did it again on opening day with an absolute Goliath of an Arizona Black Bear. Weeks of watching this bear finally paid off after our client, Shaun, who became an even better friend on this trip made great shots to put this bear down. This JUMBO bear was not quite where we expected him to be this morning so with a little grit and determination we trekked over 1.5 miles across canyons to get into shooting range. Shaun did a great job and we sure appreciate you coming out to hunt with Old School Outfitters. It was an unforgettable experience, the hunt was short lived but what an extraordinary memory we can cherish forever. A 15+ year old bear weighing in over 400+ lbs put the icing on the cake to your Arizona black bear adventure. Unbelievable bear, congratulations!
