You're invited to attend the next Open House planning session for McMinnville Parks and Recreation's 5 Year Master Plan! On June 16th, RaganSmith will be back in town to discuss their findings and recommendations for the parks and programming in our community. In case you haven't seen yet, the disc basket at Hole 7 at Pepper Branch Park is replaced and ready to go! Check out our 9 hole disc golf course located and dog park at Pepper Branch Park!

The City of McMinnville is partnering with TWRA to improve kayak access to the Barren Fork River at Pepper Branch Park. This will include a Kayak Launch, improvements to the driveway and handicap parking with a sidewalk to the launch area. This project is funded by a Tourism Enhancement Grant from the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development.

TWRA will start flagging and staging the area on February 16th. Work will then begin on February 22nd. On February 22nd, the vehicle entrance to the water will be closed and will re-open tentatively around April 14th.

For kayakers, you can still park and walk to the water, but there will be no drop offs until the project is done. Thanks so much!

Located at 120 Old Morrison Road, this park includes picnic tables and benches, great fishing sites, canoe and kayak launch, a 6 hole Disk Golf Course and a Gazebo. Pepper Branch is also a trail head for the Barren Fork Green way. This facility is open year round from dawn to dusk. The Pepper Branch Gazebo can be reserved for special events such as parties and wedding ceremonies. pepper branchYou may reserve this pavilion for $30.00. Reservation times are: 8:00 AM - 12:00 NOON 12:00 NOON - 4:00 PM 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM. In order to reserve this facility you must go to the McMinnville Civic Center and pay full rental fee. Rental times are first come, first serve.
