🏈 📣 WHAT MAKES WCYFC DIFFERENT? 📣 🏈
If you are looking for a youth sports program that balances elite skill development with fair play, you are in the right place! Warren County Youth Football and Cheer (WCYFC) is a proud member of the Southern Middle Tennessee Youth Football League (SMTYFL).

We are a 100% non-profit organization dedicated to advancing football and cheerleading skills for elementary-age athletes in our community. We operate entirely through a dedicated, volunteer Board of Directors and volunteer coaches who love this community.

Here is what sets our league apart from the rest:

📋 The WCYFC & SMTYFL Difference:
🏈 Guaranteed Playing Time for ALL Players: Unlike many other leagues in our area, our league enforces a mandatory minimum amount of plays each game for every single child, regardless of their skill level. Every player gets on the field, gets experience, and contributes to the team!

📣 A Dedicated Stage for Cheerleaders: Cheer isn't a sideline afterthought here. Our league has mandatory cheerleader requirements and hosts an incredible 1-day Cheerleading Competition during the season just for the squads to compete, show off their skills, and shine on their own stage!

📅 The Season Structure: We play an exciting 8-game regular season (4 home games and 4 away games). Most of our away game locations are within an easy, one-hour drive! The top 4 teams in each division will qualify to advance to the postseason playoffs.

🗓️ Game Day Logistics:
⏱️ Saturday Game Days: All games are played on Saturdays so families can plan their weekends easily.

🕒 Morning Kickoffs: Most game days kick off in the morning around 10:00 AM. We start the day with our D1 division, followed by D2, and our D3 teams wrap up the afternoon.

🏟️ Our Incredible Home Field: We are incredibly fortunate to have a wonderful relationship with our community schools! Our middle school and high school administrators graciously allow us to use our awesome Nunley Stadium to host all of our home games, giving our youth the chance to play on a fantastic, stadium-grade field right here at home.

We aren't just playing for today; we are building the future of Warren County sports. It is absolutely critical for elementary-age athletes to establish these fundamental building blocks early.

By teaching proper technique, discipline, and mid-level skills right now, we ensure our players are ready to hit the ground running. When our athletes transition into the middle school and eventually high school programs, their coaches don't have to spend weeks teaching the basics. They can immediately start with advanced training, complex plays, and higher-level strategy because WCYFC has already laid the groundwork.
