It is owned by Cory & Melody Martin. I married Cory in 2001, we are parents of two boys, & we enjoy our quiet, slow-paced life. I have owned & loved horses all my life, & I was inspired by the movie "Black Stallion." I purchased a Friesian Sporthorse in 2002, & we constructed our stable barn in 2016.

🦅 I always find myself rooting for the bald eagle that visits us. She usually stops by hoping to grab a fish from our pond, but it seems like every time she visits, crows are chasing her away. Today, it was a Red-Tailed hawk.

I keep hoping one day it will bring another bald eagle, but so far, it’s always alone.

This video also gives a great perspective on just how large this eagle really is when compared to the hawk. Watching them side by side was quite a sight.

Grateful for another wildlife moment at Brush Springs and the opportunity to share this land with such remarkable creatures. 🤍🤎

Working with Aurora Avail on her in-hand trot today. At one point, she decided she had a different direction in mind, and that’s exactly why we practice. 🖤

Avail is learning to confidently move forward with me, and I’m learning how to guide her. One day we’ll move as one, but every partnership starts with trust, communication, and consistency on the ground.

The little moments are building something bigger. 🐴✨

Lady Lorelei, by Lolke 371, and I are giving inspection practice our very first try. Wearing the traditional inspection halter and learning the trot-up together, one step at a time.
