That’s a wrap on Night 2 of the 2026 McLeod Stampede!

The bleachers are empty, the banners are coming down, and the Abrahamson crew are headed down the road to the next rodeo.

What a weekend celebrating 250 years of America with all of you. Thank you to our contestants, sponsors, volunteers, fans, stock contractors, and everyone behind the scenes who helped make this year another one to remember.

That’s a wrap on Night 1 of the 2026 McLeod Stampede! Thank you to everyone who came out and helped us kick off the weekend.

Special shoutout to everyone in the bleachers… if you left looking like you competed instead of watched, thanks for sticking with us 😂 Between the rodeo action and the extra dusty arena, we may have sent a little bit of McLeod home with everyone last night.

Good news: Mother Nature handled arena prep for us this morning 🌧️ which means conditions should be just about perfect for tonight.

Join us TONIGHT at 7:00 PM as we continue celebrating 250 years of America! See you there!

Contestant gear bags are making a return this year thanks to Five Feathers Ranch!

After day sheets have been emailed over to us, we’ll do a random drawing to select one contestant Friday night and one contestant Saturday night. Winners can pick up their gear bag when paying entry fees with Abrahamsons.

This year’s bags were designed to match our bullfighter jerseys as we celebrate 250 years of America at the McLeod Stampede! A fun extra for our contestants and another way to make rodeo weekend one to remember.

We included photos of last year’s gear bag winners in this post, too!

It's sign up time for Mini Broncs & Mini Bulls!

There’s no age requirement, riders just need to be under 100 lbs.

Message us directly to get signed up! (Entries go through us, not the stock contractor, so please reach out to avoid any confusion on rodeo day.)

A huge thank you to Storbakken Sanitation out of Lidgerwood, ND for sponsoring these awesome buckles that our mini riders will be competing for!

We can’t wait to see these kids in the arena Friday and Saturday!
