ROPES KUETHE 12U – 5-0 WEEKEND CHAMPIONS!!!
What a weekend for the boys in McKinney! ROPES Kuethe 12U went a perfect 5-0, outscoring opponents 41-18 and claiming the tournament title with a gritty 7-5 championship win over NTX Villains on Sunday!

Here’s how the sweep went down:

Game 1 – Sat
8-5 over Missions 12U – White
Jason Roberts launched a homer, Taysom Bogenschutz & Cash Ranson each went 2-for-2 with 2 RBIs, Colton Randolph tripled, and Grayson Bannecker slammed the door with 2 scoreless innings and 4 Ks. 8 stolen bases as a team!

Game 2 – Sat
11-0 mercy-rule shutout over Texas Commodores
9-run explosion in the 2nd! Jason Roberts threw 3 innings of no-hit, no-run ball with 4 Ks. Ketch Anderson went 2-for-2 with 3 RBIs. Zero errors on defense!

Game 3 – Sun
6-4 over USA Prime DFW 12U Blue
Colton Randolph pitched 4 strong innings (0 earned runs). Ketch doubled in key runs, and the boys stole 11 bases — absolute speed on the bases!

Game 4 – Sun
9-4 over Twin Cities – Parker/Red
Jason Roberts went 3-for-3 with 3 RBIs, including a massive 3-run homer in the 6th to seal it. Ketch struck out 6 on the mound, Grayson added 4 more Ks in relief.

Game 5 – Championship – Sun
7-5 over NTX Villains
Built a 7-1 lead with a 6-run 2nd inning explosion. Held off a late comeback with clutch relief from Taysom. Harvey Hanson went 2-for-2, Grayson & Hudson each stole multiple bags.

These boys showed heart, power, speed, and pitching depth all weekend long. Huge thanks to the coaches for the incredible preparation and game plans, and to all the families for the support and cheers!

Proud of every single one of these guys — this is just the beginning!

We wanted to do a second post for these guys to really shout them out for putting sportsmanship first and supporting an injured opponent. This is what baseball is all about. More than a game. Nothing but respect for these players showing love, unity, and sportsmanship when it mattered most. We salute you 🫡

What a weekend for the Ropes! ⚾️
Our boys went 4-0 and brought home our first official tournament win of the spring season – undefeated champs! What a great group effort, solid defense, clutch hitting, and pitching that kept us in control all weekend.
Big shoutout to Dallas Leach, our brother from another! He came out and was absolutely dominant on the mound – lights out stuff. Thanks for jumping in and helping us get it done, Dallas – you’re family!
A few more nods to the standouts:
• Our ace kept dealing and set the tone.
• The middle infield turned some gems and made big plays look easy.
• And the bats came alive when it mattered – love seeing everyone contribute!
Proud of these kids for battling and playing Ropes baseball the right way. On to the next one!
