Tucker brought home GOLD! 🥇

Competing against six other athletes at an open tournament (including competitors from karate and taekwondo schools!) Tucker delivered an incredible traditional broadsword performance.

The precision, power, focus, and discipline he showed from start to finish was outstanding. This was a strong performance and a very well-earned first place.

We’re proud of all of our students who step up to compete and the way they represent Kung Fu Academy every time they step onto the competition floor. ⚔️🥇

🥇 1 GOLD. 3 SILVER. 3 BRONZE. 🥉

What a weekend for Team Kung Fu Academy!

Our students stepped onto the floor at the Heart of Texas Open Tournament, competing alongside martial artists from a variety of styles (including Karate, Tae Kwon Do, and more) and they represented Kung Fu Academy of North Texas incredibly well.

For some students, this was their very first tournament, and we couldn’t be prouder of the way they showed up. They challenged themselves, performed under pressure, supported their teammates, and demonstrated the skill and confidence they’ve been building in class.

The medals are exciting, but seeing our students have the courage to step out there and compete is the real win.

Congratulations, Team KFA! You represented our school and Kung Fu so well!

They’re officially back! 🎒📚

New teachers. New routines. New challenges. And a whole new year of opportunities to grow.

At Kung Fu Academy, we want our students to walk into those challenges believing, “I can do this.”

Martial arts helps kids practice confidence, focus, perseverance, and self-discipline, one class, one skill, and one accomplishment at a time.

To earn an entry into our monthly grand prize drawings, students had to show up and train at least 10 times during the month. 💪 Our Summer Challenge Grand Prize drawing included everyone who hit that 10-class goal in June and/or July!

A HUGE congratulations to Andrea and Dallas and an even bigger shoutout to every student who took on the Summer Challenge and stayed committed to their training!

You showed up. You put in the work. And THAT is what the Summer Challenge was all about.

Before we trade summer days for backpacks and school bells this week… we had to take one more look back at our August Summer Camp Friday Finale! ☀️🎒❄️

Because where else can you experience SNOW in August in Texas?! 😂

We wrapped up an incredible week of camp with a Friday Finale our campers won’t soon forget- snow, an epic snowball fight, plenty of foam, and LOTS of laughs!

It was the perfect ending to a week filled with martial arts, games, challenges, creativity, new friendships, and some pretty unforgettable summer memories. 🥋❤️

As everyone heads back to school this week, we hope our campers take a little of that KFA confidence, courage, and fun right along with them.
