The event will start with a short presentation in the MHS Library and then families will have the opportunity to meet with the coaches of their student's team to get information about the upcoming season. Congratulations to Na-Tess Marquez, Thurman Henderson, Francisco Mendez, and Brayden Pinard for winning individual championships at last week's North Coast Section D3 Divisional Tournament at Clear Lake High School. The four wrestlers, along with Colby Thomson (3rd Place) and Mason Ruiz (4th Place), qualified for the North Coast Section Championships, which are taking place this Friday (February 20th) and Saturday (February 21st) at James Logan High School in Union City. GIRLS BASKETBALL SCHEDULE CHANGE--this Friday's scheduled game with Del Norte has been rescheduled and will now be played on Monday, January 12th. JVs will tip-off at 5PM and Varsity will follow at 6:30PM

Congratulations to the Girls Soccer team for their outstanding academic achievement during this past season. The Girls Soccer team earned a cumulative Team GPA of 3.46 which placed them 3rd among Division I Girls Soccer teams in the North Coast Section.

The 39th Annual Tip-Off Tournament begins tonight at MHS. Come out and support the Boys Basketball team as they compete for this year's championship!

MHS will be hosting the 39th Annual Boys Basketball Tip-Off Tournament. In conjunction with the tournament, the Humboldt-Del Norte League will be hosting a Coat and Toy Drive. Look for a donation box at the tournament this weekend. Each item donated will result in a ticket that will go towards a drawing for an H-DNL League Athletic Pass. Winners of the drawing will be announced on the H-DNL SAAC Instagram page on December 22nd.

Congratulations to the Boys Soccer team for qualifying for the North Coast Section playoffs. The Panthers will be travelling to Rohnert Part to take on Credo High School in the 1st Round.
