The McKenney Ruritan Club is hosting their spring fish fry on Friday, June 12 from 5-7pm. Tickets are $14 which includes fish, beans, slaw, hush puppies, a drink and dessert. Dine in or carry out. Tickets are only sold in advance. Contact Ricky Avery (757-647-8642), Ryan Walker (276-617-0165) if you'd like a ticket. Proceeds support the club as we help maintain the baseball fields in McKenney.

2026 Spring McKenney Baseball Closing Ceremonies 🎉⚾️

What a great ball season! Thank you to everyone that came out today. Beautiful day for a great group of kids, even though we were missing some players and coaches today. It still was a great day. We could not do this without the support of our sponsors, coaches, board members, McKenney Ruritans, parents and community. It was wonderful seeing the players play Kickball, players and families enjoying some delicious food and fellowship. Thank you to Triple T's for coming out today, the Golden Glove was delicious. Next up is Dinwiddie Nationals All-star season. Fall ball will be here soon. So keep an eye out about fall ball sign-ups. We hope everyone has a wonderful summer.
