Very exciting week in the Montour basketball world with some well deserved honors for Montour Legacy awardees.

Yesterday it was announced that the 1st coach in school history- Coach Tony Russo- will be remembered at this year’s Pittsburgh Basketball Rememberance Hall of Fame brunch on February 6, 2027 at Montour Heights Country Club.

And tomorrow we will be announcing that this year’s Division 2 Legends Hall of Fame class will include our own Gary Recktenwald Class of 1974 and Daren Tielsch Class of 2001. That banquet is March 14, 2027 also at Montour Heights Country Club.

Congratulations to all 3.

SAVE THE DATE! October 24, 2026.

Please join us for our 1st annual Hackers 4 Hoops Simulator Golf Scramble at the brand new Back Nine Golf Simulator. The great Pebble Beach Golf Course will be on the simulator!

Tee times are 8:30 AM 10:30 AM and 12:30 PM- Six foursomes per tee time!
