💜🥎 PITTSBURGH RIOT 13U 🥎💜

This Saturday, our team came together for our Welcome Day and first official practice of the season!

It was a great morning getting our players and families together, welcoming our new faces, and officially kicking off what we know is going to be a very special season. 💜

There’s already so much talent, energy, and excitement within this group, and we can’t wait to see what these girls accomplish together.
This is just the beginning. 🥎💪🏼

Here’s to hard work, lots of laughs, new friendships, big goals, and an unforgettable season ahead!

🥎💜 PLAYER ANNOUNCEMENT, WELCOME BACK #77 MAKENLEE “MAK” SCHULTZ! 💜🥎

We’re excited to welcome Mak back for her 5th season with Riot!!!!!! 💜🖤 Awesome 💪

Mak is entering 8th grade at Fort Cherry and has been playing softball since she was just 4 years old. She returns to the field as a Pitcher / Utility Player, ready to compete and continue growing alongside her Riot teammates. 🥎🔥

When she’s not on the diamond, Mak also plays volleyball 🏐 and—like most teenage girls—considers shopping a competitive sport of its own. 😂🛍️

🩺 Future goal: Become an anesthesiologist

Five seasons means a whole lot of practices, games, tournaments, friendships and memories in purple & black — and there’s plenty more still to come.

We’re excited to welcome #25 Payton Miller to the Pittsburgh Riot 13U family! ⚡️

Payton is entering 7th grade at Canon-McMillan Middle School and is beginning her first season of travel softball! She started playing at age 7 and joins the Riot as a Pitcher / Utility Player. 🥎💪🏼

When she’s not on the softball field, Payton loves pickleball and wake surfing! 🌊 Her favorite player is Montana Fouts, and she loves following Alabama and Penn State softball.

💙 Favorite color: Navy blue
⚖️ Future goal: Become a lawyer! Wow!!!

We’re excited to welcome #14 Kayleigh Thomas to the Pittsburgh Riot 13U family! ⚡️

Kayleigh is entering 8th grade at Chartiers Valley Middle School and is heading into her 2nd year of travel softball! She brings athleticism and versatility to the Riot as a Middle Infielder / Outfielder. 🥎💪🏼

And softball is only part of what keeps Kayleigh busy! She also plays basketball 🏀 and dances ballet, jazz, and lyrical. 💃

When she’s not competing herself, Kayleigh loves watching college basketball and softball, especially South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Texas A&M. Her favorite foods include sushi 🍣 and popcorn! 🍿

We’re excited to have Kayleigh joining this group and can’t wait to watch her compete, grow, and make some great memories in purple & black!

We’re excited to welcome #18 Sophia Mason to the Pittsburgh Riot 13U family! ⚡️

Sophia is entering 8th grade at Central Valley Middle School and is heading into her 3rd year of travel softball. She brings speed, athleticism, and versatility to the Riot as an Outfielder / 2nd Baseman. 🥎💪🏼

Sophia is definitely a multi-sport athlete! When she’s not on the softball field, she stays busy with soccer, volleyball, and basketball — and when she gets a break from sports, she enjoys baking! 🧁

🎓 Future goal: Sophia hopes to become an engineer someday! Wow!!

We’re excited to welcome #16 Aubree Elliott to the Pittsburgh Riot 13U family! ⚡️

Aubree is entering 7th grade at Guardian Angels Academy and is heading into her 2nd year of travel softball. She started playing around age 6 and brings plenty of versatility to the field as a Utility Player / Pitcher. 💪🏼🥎

When she’s not on the softball field, Aubree also enjoys volleyball! Her favorite color is blue, her favorite food is Taco Bell 🌮, and—no surprise here—her favorite activity is softball!

⭐️ Favorite Player: Karlyn Pickens — one of the hardest-throwing pitchers in the game!

We’re excited to officially welcome back #12 Tori Myers for her 3rd season with Pittsburgh Riot! ⚡️💜

Tori is entering 8th grade at Canon-McMillan and is heading into her 5th season of travel softball! She started playing ball at just 4 years old and softball at 5. On the field, Tori brings plenty of versatility as a Catcher / 3rd Base / Outfield. 🥎💪🏼

When she’s not on the diamond, Tori stays busy with cross country, basketball, clarinet, student government, and math team. And when she finally gets some downtime? 📚 She loves to read!

We’ve loved watching Tori grow over the past few seasons and are so excited to have #12 back in purple & black for year THREE! 💜🖤

PLAYER ANNOUNCEMENT, # 58 Jules Hackett is BACK for another season of Riot! 💜🥎

Jules is entering 8th grade at Canon-McMillan Middle School and is heading into her 7th year of travel softball! Wow!!

When she’s not launching a Hail Mary from the outfield and somehow making an absolutely incredible play, you might also find her playing pickleball.

Her favorite college softball player is Reese Atwood of the Texas Longhorns, and her favorite color is orange. 🧡

We’re excited to have Jules’ big arm, big bat, and big personality back with us for another season!
