Are you looking for something just a little different to check out this weekend? We have just the spot for you with our newest park development.
In the wooded area on the west side of Knox Park we have implemented a Natural Park. Instead of monkey bars and manufactured plastic play equipment, we have used nature all along this 1/2 mile crushed limestone trail. Stumps and boulders are stepping stones, bridges and climbing obstacles. Small trees that were cleared can be used to build or create. A tree was made into a seesaw. Explore and create your adventure.
While there are some clean up and finishing touches that need to occur, we are excited for children young and old to explore this newly enchanted forest.
