The Polar League All Star Baseball and Softball Games were held today in Hermantown. For baseball we had Owen Serfling representing the Mercs, playing behind the plate the majority of the game, throwing a kid out at 2nd, had had 2 nice hits! For softball we had Addison Sather representing the Mercs, playing in the outfield, making some plays and had some nice at bats! Thank you for representing the McGregor Mercs well today! Congrats to our All Conference players, Owen and Addi!

Now that track is all wrapped up for the year, it is time to honor our Track and Field Seniors! Connor Barden, Katie Heikkila, Garrett Guida, Kaitlyn Warner, and Raegan Spaeth - Thank you to all of you for your dedication, hard work, grit and determination throughout the years! You will all be missed and we wish you the best of luck in the next chapter.

State Track and Field Day 2 brought the 1600m race for Garrett. He had a great race, running with his buddy from Cromwell, but would eventually pull ahead and take 12th overall with a new personal best and his final school record of 4:30.93! Nice work!

Congrats Garrett on some nice runs at State! You represented McGregor well and we are all so proud of you!

ONE last post for tonight before calling it night. McGregor Athletics & Activities' Garrett Guida posted last week before the 7A Finals at UMD that he wanted a 9:40 3200-meter .. he won the section at 9:46. Today he DID break the 9:40 mark, finishing at 9:37.55 and finishing 6th in the 3200

The golf team held their end of year banquet at Minnesota National Golf Club & Resort and enjoyed some pizza and wings to wrap up the season and hand out letters! Congrats gentlemen on a great season! Thank you Coaches, Randy Wilburn and Chuck Boyd for your hard work with these young men this season!

Results from Day 1 of the State Track Meet:

3200m Finals was held this evening during Class A Prelims. Garrett ran a great race, kept his shoe on this year, had a personal best and set a new and final new school record for the 3200m!

He took 6th place in State Class A 3200m with a time of 9:37.55!

Garrett is off to the State Track and Field Meet!! Thank you to everyone who came out to cheer him on and see him off! Big thank you to McGregor Fire Department and Palisade Fire for helping us send him off! Your support and time is very much appreciated!

If you plan on attending, you need to purchase tickets online, Adults $13, students $8. Garrett will run the 3200m Thursday evening during Class A Prelims, and the 1600m Friday during Class A finals.
