We played some good softball this weekend at Texas Women’s University. Pitching and defense were solid, and we added a few more bombs 💣 💣 CONGRATS Kamari, Aubrey and Addy.

Great start to the season. We played well at Midwestern State, taking 2nd place. These young ladies are ready to learn from this weekend and build on a good start.

Our summer season came to an end today. It was a challenging season as we worked through some injuries and set backs with the team. I hope one take away for the girls is that sometimes life throws you curveballs, and you have to find a way to battle through it. I know they definitely worked through challenges this season. Along with a TON of fun, we had several successes too. A big one is, our goal has been to hit .400 as a team and we hit .399 for the season. While that wasn’t quite our goal, it was REALLY close, and an improvement over last season. We love our girls. We’re proud of them. We’re ready to hit the ground running in the fall.

Colorado Sparkler is over. First off, we had an awesome time!! The girls made lots of memories with white water rafting, lots of good food, games at the hotel, ice cream party at the hotel, some took in a Rockies game and of course SOFTBALL!!! We’re proud of how they pulled it together after a rough start. They showed determination and a fighter’s mentality on their way to Championship Sunday. They hit 11 homeruns in 12 games, and had 2 error free games mixed in. Can’t Wait for Triple Crown Southwest Nationals in 10 days.
