Thank you to everyone who came out and raced in our Locals Cup Downhill Series! 🚴‍♂️💨 From the good vibes and fast laps to the tastiest dogs 🌭 (and maybe a few questionable life choices ), these races were unforgettable.

A massive shoutout to all the volunteers, organizers, and riders who made it happen. We couldn’t have done it without you! The energy was unreal, and we’re already hyped for what’s next.

Mark your calendars for the first Locals Cup Enduro Series on the Western Slope! Registration is open ➡️ link in bio!

🌿 Heads Up: Herbicide Treatment on Western Slope Trails 🌿

The Appalachian Conservation Corps will be applying herbicide to treat invasive plants on the Western Slope throughout June. This helps protect our local ecosystems and keeps trails healthy for everyone to enjoy.

🔹 What to expect:

-Treated areas will be marked with blue dye for visibility.
-Trails will remain open (unless otherwise posted).
-Signage will be in place to remind riders and hikers that maintenance is happening.

Let’s all do our part to respect these areas and follow posted guidelines. Thanks for helping us keep our trails vibrant and invasive-free! 🌱

The Big Dig Day is a volunteer trail-building event on the Western Slope of Massanutten, and we want you there!

This is more than a volunteer day! It will be a fun, family-friendly day in the woods with friends old and new! Bonus… you can earn your annual Western Slope trail pass volunteer hours in a single day 🏆Prior trail experience is NOT necessary.

Volunteers work together to build new trails and or maintain existing trails, and on-site training and instruction will allow volunteers to work safely, confidently, and effectively.

What: A celebration of trails and volunteers while we work on improving the Western Slope trails.
Where: Massanutten’s Western Slope near Keezletown
Where do I park? Parking will be in the main parking lot or the field near the pavilion. Please be aware that there is an event going on on the same day, and we will be sharing parking.
When: Saturday, April 25 from 11 am to 3 pm
What to wear: Sturdy closed-toe shoes, long pants, gloves, and water!

We will get together at 11 am to go over a plan for the day and then break up into groups to work on project sites. We will have food ready at 3 pm for our post-event gathering and hangout.
We’ll grill burgers and have drinks for folks and other snacks and food.

RSVPs ARE REQUIRED (link in comments). Once you’ve signed up, you will receive email notifications with details about the day, including where we will meet. We need a headcount for food/drink and to give you some thank-you gifts.
