3 years apart...
Weightlifting is not a sprint, it's a life long marathon. You have hills, curves thrown at you, and occasionally long stretches of nothing but flat flat road where nothing changes.
BUT ...if you keep working on the little things, the big things are easier for you to handle.
I know Ginger Beef (73k) won't mind this so I'm using him as an example.
Three years ago, Ben came to me to do "CrossFit" styled workouts. I quickly suckered him into just doing Olympic weightlifting. His mobility was terrible. In the first pic you can clearly see the hips and ankles needed a lot of work. Typical for most of today's youth. With a lot of work and fighting with stuck joints, Ben is finally looking like a weight lifter. This past year Ben was able to sn**ch 100k, a goal everyone strives for. I feel confident that with Ben's hard work and his hard-redhead he will be making 125k look even better in the coming years. Keep grindin man.
The point is, put in the work for those little things. Work on mobility. Don't skip your accessory work. Work on technique. Don't eat like an as***le. Get sleep and recover as hard as you lift. The little thing will lead to bigger big things.
