South Florida Water Polo Club SFWPC cultivates excellence by developing athletes of all ages and skill levels through elite coaching and teamwork. Established in 2003 🤽‍♂️🤽

The South Florida Water Polo Club, formerly known as the Ft. Lauderdale WPC, was formed in 2003 as a non-profit organization to promote the sport of water polo. SFWPC’s purpose is to provide water polo training in the South Florida area and prepare athletes for high school, college and national level water polo competition. SFWPC seeks to benefit no particular high school or area over another and

our purpose is simple: provide athletes a place to learn and play the game of water polo. As SFWPC has grown, we find that members of the club have diverse levels of ability, from beginners to former international level athletes. Our task is to bring all the differing skill levels and accompanying desires together into a unified program. Our greatest challenge is to provide an environment for learning that is both enjoyable for the newest athlete and challenging enough for our veterans. As our athletes progress we seek to provide ample opportunity for development so that each of our members may enjoy the sport.

You want to be the best, come train like these amazing athletes!

The end of the high school season brings with it recognition to our incredible athletes including the All-County selections for the Broward and Miami counties from the Miami Herald!

At the forefront we were led by Junior goalkeeper, Marcell Varhalmi and Senior attacker, Riley Andres who also won the Player of the Year award for the Broward County on the boys and girls side.

An incredible day for our athletes at South Florida Water Polo Club having legendary 5-time Olympian, World Champion and 2022 Player of the Year Felipe Perrone at our training.

The kids had the opportunity to learn from one of the best to ever play the game. Hearing firsthand knowledge, habits, and lessons built through years competing at the highest level of water polo. Moments like these are what inspire the next generation and continue growing the culture of our club.

Our 12U and 18U boys both took home 1st place last weekend at the Saint Andrew’s Winter Classic! Now it’s back to work and begin preparing for our very own 23rd annual South Florida International Water Polo Tournament (Feb. 13–15 at Coral Springs Aquatic Complex). Best of luck to all of our high school aged athletes as the high school season officially gets underway.
