Favorite GDSB Memory: My favorite memory at the studio was when I first became a seven. I was able to become closer to the past seniors and become true friends with them. I will always hold those memories close to me.

Favorite GDSB production or dance: My favorite production is our current one of Le Corsaire and The Nutcracker. They are both so enjoyable and exciting to dance.

What are you most proud of during your time at GDSB? I am most proud of the challenges and lessons I have learned. I have gathered so much knowledge and experiences that have truly made me who I am. I will be forever grateful for those hard moments and who I let guide me through them. They will always be with me.

What will you miss most about GDSB and this year? I will miss all my friends and dancing with them. There was always something so special about dancing with the people I care and love about. I’ll also miss not seeing them for hours on end every week, it was my favorite part of every week.

What are you most excited about for the future? I am excited to start a new chapter in my life, I’m hoping it brings me joy and life.

Advice for younger dancers : Find what dance is to you. Don’t be afraid to take control of what you want from it, take risks and love it with all you have. Sometimes the uncomfortable things make you flourish.

Favorite GDSB memory: My favorite memory will definitely be the moment I got to dance sugar plum in the nutcracker and dance along side my closest friends. I will always cherish the countless hours spent with my close friends and dance teachers and the amazing memories we all created with each other.

Favorite production: My favorite production definitely has to be nutcracker because it’s such a classic and it creates such a magical atmosphere for the audience and dancers on stage. Getting to preform on stage especially with your best friends has to be the best feeling in the world.

What am I most proud of: I am most proud of growing into the person I am today. I learned so much over the years while dancing here not only as a dancer but as a person. I plan on continuing to apply what I learned here as a stepping stone for me heading into the real world.

What will I miss the most: I will miss dancing the most at GDSB and also miss looking forward to seeing all my friends and favorite teachers everyday.

What am I most excited about for the future: I am most excited to see what lies ahead for me especially in the dance world and getting the chance to experience new things and have a fresh start.

Advice for younger dancers: My advice to younger dancers would be to never give up on yourself no matter how tired or uncomfortable you may feel you never ever should give up. Also to not let fear hold you back from achieving your goals and dreams
