We will be sending our last paddlers out on Labor Day, closing up for the season and heading off to guide our Fall tours. Thank you to everyone that came out this season! So many familiar faces returning year after year and sharing our love for this river! Stef and Ari will be heading to Italy and Africa to guide a special series of tours. We will be reopening next year sometime in the first weeks of June, please refer to this page for an exact date closer to opening. We hope you all winter well and can’t wait to see you all next year! Happy 4th to you all! 21 yrs of getting our amazing guest on the water. I/we still love what we do and will keep sharing the joy of paddling this beautiful, sweet little river that we call home. Keep moving and experiencing all the beauty we have out there and respect it! ❤️

Less than two weeks left to paddle at Backwoods Adventures for the 2025 season! Closing day is Labor Day, September 1st. Thank you all for making it a season to remember! We appreciate our return businesses so so much!
We will be opening next season in mid-June after Spring 2026 Greece and Italy tours are complete so be on the lookout for an exact date in May.

One week after closing Backwoods Adventures Stef and Ari will be headed to Italy to guide a special Dolomites & Sardinia Hiking trip and then Stef is on to Greece to guide her Best of Greece trips. You can read all about these trips on our website!

One more week of paddling here at Backwoods, we close for the season on Monday Labor Day! Our sale for SUPs and kayaks starts today and ends on Labor Day so swing by for a super deal on gear! Thank you so much for another great season and all the continued support we get from our loyal customers. We love you guys! We will reopen mid June 2025! The Perception Hi Life. We have 2 available this year so be sure to message us if you want one or both. The more used of the two is $350 and the newer one is $450.
