We would also love a huge crowd tonight that is extremely loud. We are coming off a huge win against a very good Meigs team the other night. That puts us in a 3 way tie for first place in the TVC with Meigs and Wellston. As luck would have it, we are playing a home game tonight against Wellston. So you can come watch 3 good games tonight (starting with freshmen at 5:00), watch the Vikings for the first time at home in a month against our neighbors to the south, and see 3 great Vikings get inducted into the Hall of Fame. It sounds to me like this is the place to be. We hope to see everyone tonight.

Vinton County Local School District is located in McArthur, OH.

Just a reminder that the game at South Point tomorrow is an afternoon game. The JV game will start at 2:00 with the varsity game to follow.

Tonight’s game that was scheduled with Nelsonville has been postponed. Once we have a make up date for that, we will let you know. The Viking Boys return to action Wednesday night at Eastern Meigs. It will be a 6:00 JV start. We hope to see you there.

THERE SEEMS TO BE SOME CONFUSION. Saturday’s scheduled game between your Vikings and Fairfield Union is NOT an ALL-DAY EVENT. The freshmen will tip off at 1pm, the JV, and varsity to follow. Meaning the varsity will tip off between 3:15 to 3:45.

This scheduling is to accommodate two separate events. First, Christmas Downtown and the Big Ten Championship beginning at 8pm.

So what could be better? Vikings basketball, hot cocoa and Santa, and a Buckeyes’ championship all in one day!
