The Overdogs Blitz Fundraiser Summer Series is officially in motion, and we already have families locking in their spots!

WHY THE BLITZ?
This is a high-speed, 3.5-week "Blitz" season designed to build our Tournament Fund. We are playing a lot of games and keeping the focus on pure development.

REMINDER: We are strictly capping this at 120 players. We want 10 teams of 12—no more, no less—to ensure everyone gets maximum reps.

THE OVERDOGS SUMMER BLITZ FUNDRAISER!

We are officially launching the Overdogs Blitz Summer Series, and this isn't just a league—it’s our primary fundraiser to fuel our Tournament Teams for the upcoming season! 100% of the proceeds go directly toward the program.

We’ve engineered a high-intensity, 3.5-week "Sprint" season (10 games total) designed to give RGV players the highest quality reps in the shortest amount of time.

THE BLITZ DETAILS:
📅 TIMELINE: Mid-May through Mid-June (Finish before the July heat!)
⚾ FORMAT: 3 Games/Week. 4-Inning Sprints. No Clocks.
🛡️ SAFETY: USA Bats only + strict 5-out pitching limits to protect arms.
⚖️ BALANCE: Every player is ranked/drafted. No blowouts, just competitive ball.

WHY JOIN THE BLITZ?
Most rec leagues drag on for months. We’re doing it in 10 high-speed sessions. You get the development, you support the Overdogs program, and you still get your summer back.

The gear is ready, the banners are up, and the Overdogs are focused. We’ve got a big weekend ahead at the USSSA State Tournament here in McAllen! ⚾️🔥

First 12u placement in the books! 📚🏆

We couldn't be prouder of this team. Even with many of our players playing up a division, they didn't back down for a second. They stepped onto that 12u diamond, competed at a high level, and brought home the hardware! 🥈💪

It’s all about the experience and the reps, and these kids proved they belong on any field they step on. Let's go, Overdogs! 🐾⚾️

Same inning. We’ve got the 𝟯-𝟮 lead with 𝟮 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀. 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗶 steps up and rips a sharp single right back up the middle to score 𝗥𝘂𝗯𝗲𝗻!

The ball gets past the center fielder, allowing Davi to hustle into 𝟮𝗻𝗱. He didn't stop there—he swiped 𝟯𝗿𝗱 and then charged home on a 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 to put us up 𝟱-𝟮!

Those extra runs were huge as we hung on for the 𝟱-𝟰 𝗪𝗜𝗡 over the Guardians! 🐾💎

Top of the 3rd. Down 𝟮-𝟬. 𝗧𝗮𝗻𝗼 steps up and absolutely 𝗧𝗢𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗦 the left fielder, sending a moonshot right over his head! 🚀🔥

He turned on the burners for a 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱-𝘂𝗽 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲, driving in 𝗗𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗶𝗲 and 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗻 to tie the game! This was the hit that ignited the comeback. We didn't look back from there, grinding out a 𝟱-𝟰 𝗪𝗜𝗡 against the Guardians! 🐾⚾️

With the pressure at an all-time high, 𝗝𝗮𝗶𝗺𝗲 stepped up and delivered! 💎 He kept his cool and ripped a hard base hit right up the middle to score Matteo and secure the 𝟳-𝟲 𝗪𝗜𝗡!

The 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗼𝗴𝘀 walked away with a gritty 𝟳-𝟲 𝗪𝗜𝗡 over DK last night, and the spark plug was this absolute 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗞𝗘𝗬 from 𝗧𝗮𝗻𝗼 in the first inning.

With the sun dipping low and the game tied up, he caught all of this one. A massive 2-RBI nuke that cleared the left fielder and nearly left the yard entirely. Talk about setting the tone! 💪⚾️

These awards didn't happen by accident. These athletes have been putting in the hours, practicing hard, and playing a lot of baseball. All that extra work is paying off! ⚾️🔥

𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗦 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗔𝗖𝗞! 💍
𝗘𝗹𝘀𝗮, 𝗧𝗫 — 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟮𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗼𝗴𝘀 officially secured a 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵 at the 𝗖𝟰 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 & 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀 tournament at Mario Leal Park this Sunday.

While the silver hardware is headed to the trophy case, the real story was the bond on the field. The team played with heart all weekend, and the celebration didn't stop at the handshake line. Whether it's a clutch hit or 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗶 𝗦𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗵 tackling 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗼 𝗦𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘆𝗻 into the Elsa dirt after a big win, this squad plays for each other.
