Isabel Protheroe is a 20 year old third year law student studying at Swansea University. Her career aspiration is to complete the LPC/LLM and become a solicitor.
In 2021, she competed in Miss Wales and placed Top 5, also becoming Miss Bridgend.
After a year out of competition, she became an active volunteer at two organizations, the Boys and Girls club of Wales and US Girls. Isabel believes that every child in Wales deserves equal opportunities in all aspects of life, regardless of gender, social, or economic status.
At US Girls, she volunteers weekly and takes a group to cheerleading classes, where they have the opportunity to be part of a team and compete internationally, learning valuable social skills and boosting their confidence.
With Boys and Girls club of Wales, she plans to create international opportunities for youth by taking them to Poland and other unannounced countries in 2023.
In the summer of 2022, Isabel travelled to Fiji and volunteered in a Fijian village for a month as part of a Youth Empowerment Expedition.
In her spare time, she works as a freelance model and recently walked at Cheshire Fashion Week and will be walking at London Bridal Week. She enjoys listening to podcasts, going to the gym, and creating videos for her YouTube channel, which documents her journey to Miss Wales.
