Throwing it back to an awesome hunt and a beautiful Addax! The Christensen Arms 6 Creedmoor did its job flawlessly, and having a solid KJI Tripods made all the difference when it was time to make the shot count.

Moments like these are why we spend countless hours scouting, practicing, and chasing adventures in the field. Great memories, great equipment, and one incredible animal.

Rain or shine, they still have to eat

With all the rain we’ve been getting, this hog couldn’t resist stopping by the feeder for a midday snack. The weather may change, but a dependable feeding program keeps wildlife moving and gives you a better chance to catch them on camera.

It’s always interesting to see what shows up when the rain lets up for a bit. This old boar knew exactly where his next meal was waiting.

Who’s got hogs showing up during these rainy days?

When every ounce matters, the setup matters.

The carbon fiber KJI Tripods tripod is hands down one of the best pieces of gear I’ve added to my kit. Lightweight, rock solid, and easy to pack whether I’m covering miles during the day or setting up after dark.

Paired with my Christensen Arms 6 creed, it’s a combination that’s built for accuracy and confidence in the field. Add a Bobro QD mount, and I can quickly switch between day optics and thermal without missing a beat.

From daylight hunts to long nights chasing predators, this setup is always ready to go.

What’s your go-to rifle and tripod combo?

South Texas got a much-needed drink today. Even the wildlife hit pause and stood out in the rain to enjoy it. Moments like this remind us that every drop counts for the land, the grass, and the critters that call it home.

This old feeder has seen plenty of dry days, so watching the rain pour down is a sight worth celebrating. Here’s to greener pastures and healthy wildlife across the ranch.

Another successful night on the flats! The flounder were showing up and the crew made the most of it. There’s nothing better than watching those lights hit the water and seeing a big flattie laying there waiting.

I’m available during the week for flounder gigging trips out of Port Mansfield. If you’re ready to stick some flatties and make a few memories, send me a DM and let’s get you on the water!

Beautiful day on the bay and the time flew by! When the weather is right, the water is slick, and the fish are cooperating, there’s no better place to be. Days like this remind me why I love spending time on the Lower Laguna Madre.

Dates are available for bay fishing and flounder gigging trips out of Port Mansfield. DM me to get on the calendar!

Turn and burn kind of day! Had to make a quick run from Port Mansfield to Arroyo City to pick up some clients. I rarely push the boat, but today she stayed pinned the whole way. From the mouth of Port to the dock in Arroyo in just 30 minutes—not too shabby!

The new Smith Optics had me seeing everything the bay had to offer, and they definitely earned their keep today.

Now don’t ask me about the fuel bill... that’s a conversation for another day! 😂

What an awesome night with this big group! Huge thanks to Capt. Alfonso for bringing me in on this trip. We teamed up, covered some water, and made it happen.

We missed a few, stepped on a few, and probably walked right over a few, too! The water was a little murky, but that didn’t stop us from putting together an epic night on the water.

That’s the thing about flounder gigging—you never know what the next step is going to reveal.

Want to experience it for yourself? DM me to book a flounder gigging trip out of Port Mansfield!

Got hogs? We sure do.

The hogs have been hitting feeders hard and tearing up the ranch. With our cell cameras, we know exactly when they’re moving and where they’re showing up. Day or night, the intel keeps rolling in and helps us stay one step ahead.

Big thanks to for keeping us connected to the ranch 24/7. The real-time updates make it easy to keep tabs on the wildlife and the hogs causing trouble.

Another solid day on the Lower Laguna Madre! The bite stayed steady and we put some quality fish in the boat. Caught a few oversized trout, which is always a great sign to see, with the biggest stretching the tape to 25”. To top it off, we landed a stud bull red that put up an absolute fight!

The summer bite is heating up, and now is a great time to get on the water. Dates are available during the week and weekends out of Port Mansfield. Send me a DM and let’s get your trip booked!
