Thomas, Ken, and Stephanie out fishing with D&K Guide Service on Lake Eufaula! These guys had a great time putting crappie in the boat and filling the cooler.

Star and Jay with D&K Guide Service made quick work of their limits this morning, then spent some time culling fish before heading to the cleaning dock. If we kept a smaller fish, it was only because it swallowed the minnow hook too deep.

I have openings on August 31st, September 2nd, and September 3rd, then I’ll be out of pocket for about a week. If you’ve been thinking about a trip, now is the time. These fish are absolutely loaded up on structure, and it’s incredible how many are stacked on each pile. Lake Eufaula has made an amazing comeback, and there are some quality slabs mixed in too!

The best part? We were finished before the heat even got started. Summer fishing doesn’t get much better than this.

Mike and his wife spent the morning slab chasing on Lake Eufaula with D&K Guide Service! The bite was on, and they were already culling fish and upgrading their catch before noon. That’s always a good sign of a strong day on the water.

Thank y’all for giving me the opportunity to take you fishing. We had a great morning, beat the heat, and put some quality crappie in the boat. Looking forward to seeing y’all again next year!

J.J., Lauren, Beau, Hank, and J.R. had a blast this morning pulling in one sand bass after another! What a great way for a family to enjoy the great outdoors and make some memories together.

It was a pleasure having y’all in the boat and teaching these boys the ropes. Watching kids get excited every time a fish hits the line never gets old. Thanks for the opportunity to spend the morning with your family, and I’d love to see y’all back out on the water again soon.

Meet Stan and Shay from Harper County, Kansas! These guys put on a fishing show today, putting their limits in the boat before noon. The bite was fast and furious, and the fish were definitely cooperating.

Ray, George, and Roland out on Lake Eufaula putting together a solid day of crappie fishing! I still have openings next week, and as long as we have a little breeze, it’s not bad at all out there—I provide plenty of shade on the boat.

The fishing is good right now, with the crappie all bunched up and easy to target. These guys finished the day with a 3-man limit and had a great time doing it. And a bonus catfish off Howard’s dock where I clean fish.

Greg and his dad Chuck out with D&K Guide Service on Lake Eufaula! These guys caught a pile of crappie today, but Greg only likes to keep fish over 10 inches, so we practiced a little conservation and let plenty swim away to grow another day. Nothing wrong with that!

Greg is always willing to share good life advice, and I’m thankful for the opportunity to learn from him over the years. It’s conversations like those that make these trips special.

The fish are locked into a structure pattern right now, and all of today’s fish were caught on minnows using ACC Crappie Stix, available at the Rusty Hook.

Dave and his grandson Asher hit the lake with D&K Guide Service, and my goodness, they caught fish on just about every pass! After a few hours, they were plum wore out—and that’s a sure sign of a great day on the water.

This was a catch-and-release Sand Bass trip, and trolling for Sand Bass is one of the best options for kids or adults with a short attention span because the action stays fast and fun.

Thanks, Dave, for giving me the opportunity to take y’all fishing. We had a blast, and I’m already looking forward to doing it again next summer!

David Lacy and his grandsons, Cutter and Rhaiden, joined me on Lake Eufaula for a fun day of crappie fishing. Cutter missed the photo opportunity, but all three of them put together a solid catch and finished the day by hooking into a few catfish at the cleaning dock.

Thank you, David, for bringing the boys down. One of the best parts of this job is watching kids light up when a big slab hits the deck. Those are memories they’ll be talking about for years.

Ammon and Ben hit the water with D&K Guide Service today! I picked them up at the Carlton Landing dock, and they wanted to get in on some fast-action sand bass fishing. That’s exactly what we did — these fish were stacked up, and we caught them on every pass.

This was a catch-and-release trip, As a bonus, we even managed to sneak up on a beautiful bald eagle. God bless America! 🇺🇸🦅
