McAlester Country Club is seeking a Part-Time Golf Course Marshal to help provide an enjoyable experience for our members and guests.

Position Details

Friday: Half-day shift
Saturday & Sunday: Full-day shifts
Up to 25 hours per week
$10 per hour
Great opportunity for retirees, golf enthusiasts, or anyone looking for weekend work in a friendly atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Monitor pace of play and assist golfers as needed
Help maintain a positive experience on the course
Communicate course rules and etiquette
Represent the club with professionalism and excellent customer service

What We’re Looking For

Friendly and dependable attitude
Good communication skills
Ability to work outdoors
Knowledge of golf is preferred but not required

PLEASE READ: Membership Categories and Guest Policies Quick Review

As the song goes, "Summertime and the living is easy". Our membership categories and guest policies can be too! Please remember to be courteous and respectful to each other and our staff this summer.

Summertime is here, and we are in our busiest season at MCC! We currently have 288 members, several of whom are new. So, we encourage everyone to get to know our new members and welcome them to the club. Summer brings more members out, so it’s a good time to review our membership categories and guest policies.

Single Golf Members: Your membership is for you, an individual, only. Full Family Members and Social Members: Your membership is for your household members. Now is a great time to update your family profile with the office or by logging into our member portal. This helps ensure your family group is accurately listed.

Guest Policy: Members MUST accompany guests while they are on the property. This is worth repeating. MEMBERS MUST BE WITH THEIR GUESTS. Our bar, restaurant, pool, and courts are closed to the public. Non-members are not permitted in our bar, restaurant, pool, or tennis courts without a member. Members golfing with local guests: Please be mindful that local guests are limited to 6 rounds of golf, regardless of which member brings them as a guest.

We love the opportunity to showcase our property and provide excellent hospitality. We hope all our members come up to the club and enjoy all that summer has to offer, whether it’s a swim, a bite to eat, or a cold beverage. Have a bite, a drink, and enjoy “The Best View in Town”.
