Krav Maga classes for veterans at McAlester Tae Kwon Do (912 South Main). Tuesdays 3:30-4:30pm, Thursdays 4:00-5:00pm, and Sundays 6-7pm. Tuesday and Sunday classes are women-only groups. Thursdays are open to both men and women. All veterans (native and non-native) are welcome to attend and may bring a support person to participate with them. There is no cost to attend, and pre-enrollment is not necessary, and registration forms will be completed when you arrive. This opportunity is provided by a collaboration with CNO Warrior Wellness and Sita Homakbi.

I was sitting in Jr. Grapplers® class talking to one of my jiu-jitsu girls. I asked her why she wanted to take jiu-jitsu and she explained that her parents wanted her to take jiu-jitsu because it's a non-violent martial art.
