The West Ridge of Forbidden in North Cascades National Park is such a classic! Wild exposure, solid rock, and a beautiful ridge combine to make this an amazing climb. Not to mention a steep snow couloir, a moderate glacier, and a high alpine camp in a pristine basin to round out the quality of this trip. There are no easy routes up Forbidden, which makes the summit all the sweeter.

Guides Tavish Hansen Kyle Pratt and Jeff Ward all had various successful climbs on Forbidden this past week. 🤩

We continue to climb this beauty into early September as weather and permits allow. If you’re looking for guaranteed dates in 2027, reach out by the end of winter to get set up!

Alpine huts teetering on the edge of big glaciers, long alpine days, warm delicious meals, dessert every night. Oh, and of course getting to ski the most famous traverse in Europe! The stoke was high for our international trips this spring. Huge thanks to our guests who always bring the good vibes.
