KHSAA State Recap:

Tough weekend at the KHSAA State Tournament. Stong winds and tough bite on day 1. We are proud of these guys for their steady hard work. They made their place on the scoreboard on day 2 with 2lbs 4oz. A big thank you to boat captains Zach Martin and Kurt Thomasson for the time and resources they provided to get the guys out on the water.

The State Tournament wraps up our regular 2025/2026 season. The team will back at it in June at the Major League Fishing High School Camp and the Student Angler Federation World Finals at Lake Cumberland.

Good Luck to Jake Buzanis and Michael Harris as they will be fishing the 2026 KHSAA Bass Fishing State Championship Tournament this Friday and Saturday at Kentucky Lake. We are very proud of these guys!
Catch the weigh in on both days starting at 2:45 P.M at the Kentucky Dam Marina.

A Big Thank You to Mr. Johnny Suthard for letting the team come out and enjoy the evening at our final team meeting of the season. Congrats to team members Avery McKinney for winning the team spinnerbait Challenge and to Elliott Thomasson for catching the big bass of the afternoon!

Hooked on Fishing 2026

Thank you to all members and boat captains who came out and helped today! Thank you to the Graves County and Mayfield schools Family Resource Youth Service Centers for hosting the event. It's always a great time and several nice fish were caught!

2026 KHSAA Regional Tournament:

Congratulations to Jake Buzanis and Michael Harris. These guys have qualified for the KHSAA State Championship Tournament for the 3rd consecutive year with a 6th place finish of nearly 106 boats!

Congratulations to Teams Hunter Legens and Jaxon Bouland and Team Coleman Winstead and Maddox Stamper for bringing fish to the scales!

A huge shout out to our boat captains! We could not do this without you!

It was a busy day for the team traveling to Lake Malone for the 1st time. We also had one of our team captain Ty Pitman team up with his dad & boat captain, Casey Pitman, and fished the Cast Ministries tournament out of Big Bear-KY Lake. While Lake Malone did not produce scorable fish for the team, Congratulations to Ty for weighing in at 2lbs 14oz.

A Big Thank you to the boat captains Clint Marler , Kurt Thomasson , David Dale , and Jaren Frick for getting the team on the water! Also thank you to Mrs. Peggy Elder Marler for observing today!

The team will be back on the water on 4/18 on Lake Barkley one final time before the KHSAA Regional Tournament.
