Welcome to the Mayer Wrestling Home Page. This page follows the incredible journeys of our hometown wrestlers.
In the last 2 1/2 years our team has covered an amazing distance. In a quick recap, we have:
Won our 1st Section Championship, with Dustin Oen
Won our 1st State Medals, with Tony Walters taking 5th in 2022, and 3rd in 2023
Won over 30 tournament medals, including our 1st girls medal
Won 8 individual tournament championships
Had Mayer's 1st two wrestlers reach 100+ wins, with Tony Walters and Dustin Oen
Broken school records in wins, pins, tech falls, and takedowns
Had Mayer's 1st girl's division wins, and pins, by Sadie Bateman and Karime Lozania
