Letter from ownership

I've spent the last couple days navigating the heartache and disappointment from Sundays Championship game. Things within our control and outside of our control caused us to fall short after such an amazing season at the beach.
Our success is your success. Our disappointment is your disappointment. Trust me when I say this season was Us, and this will make Us stronger. This will bond Us tighter and this will be motivation for our success in the future. I refuse to let this hold Us down.
Special thanks to all the HITS staff and especially the Cruz brothers for a truly memorable season.

Hudson Valley Hype x Hidden Talent collaboration kicked off the Hoops in Sun season with a nail-biting 77-75 win over Team Anta/All Even. Floor General and St John's Aum Rah Dunn .dunn3 led the charge with 25pts. The Hype aim to keep the momentum going this Sunday against Team TNG.

The Hudson Valley Hype moved onto the Championship game Sunday with a revenge win over the Pound 87-82. The Hype led the entire game and by as many as 20 points in the 4th quarter. The player of the game honors went to Chris Moseley with a team high 17pts.
The collision course between Hudson Valley and Gun Hill is now set for Sunday at the home of the Westchester Knicks the Westchester County Center. Admission is free, and tipoff is 7:45, so make sure you arrive early and get ready for what is sure to be a classic.

The Hudson Valley Hype needed to make a statement in the final regular season game at Hoopsville Pro-AM, and they did just that forcing the game to be stopped with just under three minutes left in the fourth 128-92. It's called the mercy rule when the other team is helplessly outscored. Hype rookie Kyle Mcgee received player of the game honors with a double double of 27pts and 11rebs but the dominance came from the other two new comers Amadou at center with 28pts and a lock down defense show from shooting gaurd Denzel Banks who also poured in
Hudson Valley will face A.D.C. in the first round of the playoffs this Sunday in a rematch of the regular season that left the Hype with the loss. This time, H.V.H. will have all their starters in the roster and look to make this their first playoff win on the road to the championship.

And just like that, the tumultuous 2023 season is almost over with one game remaining, and the Hudson Valley Hype have clinched a playoff spot. The Hype took a quarter and a new voice in the huddle to figure out they have all the talent they need to win the game putting a 20 point margin between them and Ged Elite when the buzzer rang in the 4th.
The final regular season game this Saturday will determine what seed Hudson Valley will be for the playoffs starting June 29th.

Another week and another opportunity missed as the Hype fell to a short-handed Sean Bell team 132-117. The Bell were missing three starters and still outplayed Hudson Valley through a surge late in the 4th quarter that got them as close as 8 points.
The Hype have two more regular season games remaining that are must win in order to make the playoffs. Tune in this Saturday as they face Ged Elite, tipoff 6PM

The Final Four are set, and it's win or go home this Tuesday night as the Hype face BK Stompers. Hudson Valley took their first loss of the regular season to BK in a close game, now its the Hype's turn to return the favor and move on to the Championship.

The Hudson Valley Hype returned to their winning ways with a 93-82 win against Dutch Gang. The Hype came to play with a full roster and jumped out to a double-digit lead they carried all the way to the closing minutes in the 4th. Chris Moseley led the way with 21pts followed by Mr. Backpack himself with a season high 13pts.
With only three more games left in the regular season, the Hype will look to continue to win games to move up in the standings for the playoffs.

The 2022 Historic season came to an end Sunday as the Hudson Valley Hype finished undefeated beating Pro-Szn in the Championship 72-58. The Hype were down by as many as 6pts in this epic duel that was definitely one you had to be there to see. Dominique Jones once again was the finals MVP with a playoff high 21pts.Rookie sensation "Playoff Mike Liander" once again hit big shots ending the afternoon with 16pts.
Never has a team in over a decade of play at BHP went undefeated throughout the season and won the Championship, a feat only the Hudson Valley Hype could accomplish.
Special thanks to the coaching staff Elijah Thorpe and Trevor Shabbie Stanley for all their hard work and dedication throughout the season.
Thanks to BHP for one of the best seasons to date, very professional and organized again this year.

The Hudson Valley Hype are one game away from making BHP League history defeating Team Funeral 69-57 in their semi-final playoff game. The Hype Were down early 0-5 until rookie Mike Liander caught fire with 9 straight points finishing the night with a team high 23pts. Hudson Valley dominated the game from that point, maintaining a double figure lead throughout. Hype veteran Nick Leon received the league MVP award and once again proved why he is just that, pouring in 19 pts shooting 67% from the field.
Hudson Valley will face Pro-Szn this Sunday in the Championship game in what look to finish this historic season a perfect 9-0 and win their 3rd title.
