Meet the Owner ✨Ms. Charity✨
Originally from Texas, Charity Headley has dedicated her life to the art of dance. With over 40 years of experience as a dancer and over 20 years as the owner of Tutus and Tennis Shoes, she has made a lasting impact on the dance community. Charity is proficient in a wide range of dance styles, including tap, ballet, contemporary, modern, jazz, and musical theatre, with a specialized focus on acro training.
She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, complemented by minors in both Dance and Nutrition. Throughout her dance education, Charity expanded her expertise by attending numerous master classes and traveling to industry-leading conventions. Her performance credits include prestigious venues such as the Grand Ole Opry and the Arneson River Theatre in San Antonio. She continues training by traveling to teacher workshops several times a year.
Under Charity’s guidance, her students have achieved remarkable success, earning scholarships at competitive conventions and competitions and pursuing careers in professional entertainment. Her passion for dance education and commitment to excellence continue to inspire the next generation of performers.
She loves her job and is passionate about educating. Over the years she has loved seeing the students of TNT grow from tiny dancers into beautiful artists and extraordinary people! She cant wait to watch her students grow in dance for many years to come.
