Got em on today at the bluefin grounds. Seemed like the bite slowed a bit, probably due to the amount of boats (~200 in the fleet). Well be back out over the next few days.

Missing my dad a little extra today. Here he is, during his battle with cancer and his hair was wild due to chemotherapy. I miss fishing with him. I miss calling him and sharing fishing stories. He enjoyed catching striped bass in Maine on the rivers near his home. Don't take any day for granted. Live life like it's your last day. I wish had had a little more time with him.

Small Bluefin were everywhere today. Limited out quickly and caught and released a few more. Back to the dock before the rain at 10am.

Had Matt and his son William out for a striped bass trip the other night. William out fish his dad by far. William hooked this nice bass and fought it for 8 minutes by himself. We pulled the fish aboard and snapped an indelible memory, then released it for another young angler to catch. Great job Buddy.

The Freeman 37 took on some serious seas in the search for this bigeye in the . Seas were 6ft at 5 seconds with the occasional 8 mixed in. Thunder, Lightening, and torrential rains rounded out the overnight. Nothing like sitting in a bean bag with just your on. Started the Troll at 330am and came across this guy. My son Evan took the rod and worked this fish with a harness and a custom rod from paired with a Talica 50.
