Illinois Central College Cougars Varsity cruised to an easy victory over Lewis and Clark Community College Trailblazers Varsity 10-2 on Monday

In the first inning, Illinois Central College Cougars Varsity got their offense started. Katie David singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Illinois Central College Cougars Varsity notched four runs in the second inning. Lou McWhirter, David, and Megan Adams all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.

David led things off on the rubber for Illinois Central College Cougars Varsity. She allowed six hits and two runs over five innings, striking out four.

SYDNEY HENRICHS was on the rubber for Lewis and Clark Community College Trailblazers Varsity. She lasted two innings, allowing six hits and five runs while striking out one and walking one. BETHANY MUENSTERMANN threw two and a third innings in relief.

Illinois Central College Cougars Varsity tallied one home run on the day. Alexis West had a homer in the fourth inning.

Illinois Central College Cougars Varsity collected 11 hits on the day. Lexy Trammell, David, and Adams all collected multiple hits for Illinois Central College Cougars Varsity. David and Trammell all had three hits to lead Illinois Central College Cougars Varsity.

PEYTON TISDALE went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Lewis and Clark Community College Trailblazers Varsity in hits.

Illinois Central College Cougars Varsity took the lead late in the game in a 3-2 victory over Parkland College on Friday. The game was tied at two with Illinois Central College Cougars Varsity batting in the bottom of the sixth when Maddie McCunn doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
The pitching was strong on both sides. undefined struck out seven, while Tori Witruk sat down two.
Illinois Central College Cougars Varsity opened up scoring in the first inning. Katie David drove in one when she singled.
Illinois Central College Cougars Varsity knotted the game up at two in the bottom of the fourth inning, when an error scored one run for Illinois Central College Cougars Varsity.
David was the winning pitcher for Illinois Central College Cougars Varsity. She surrendered two runs on four hits over six and two-thirds innings, striking out seven.
Witruk started the game for Parkland College. She went six innings, allowing three runs on six hits and striking out two.
Alexis West led Illinois Central College Cougars Varsity with two hits in three at bats.

Cougars play again at 3:30 tomorrow n Mattoon.
