Every person you see at the gym, whether they’re grinding away at new goals for the first time or already look to have “arrived” by your standards - 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆’𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗶𝘁. They’ve probably wanted to quit at times - most of us have wanted to, and to be real, most of us have tried many things and have quit about as many. And the reasons can be legit. Sometimes they’re crushing. Some things truly just aren’t the right fit, and sometimes we just aren’t ready or willing to keep going. That’s ok.
But when you see the people going after it, whether out loud on the meeds or religiously showing up and warming up quietly in the corner, see them for what they are - humans, just like the rest of us, who have been, and likely still are, 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗙𝗙. They may have just decided that the time is now. You can do the same, even if you’ve tried more times than you can count. Try again.
