Thank you to Master Richard DeGeorge and Invictus Taekwondo Of Union for hosting the Level Elite Seminar this weekend. Thank you also to Master Dennis White and Master Sang H Cha. All 3 of you pour knowledge and encouragement into everyone in attendance.
Kamden, Bailey and Taylor had a great time learning, working hard and meeting some really great athletes. They all showed improvements in the specific areas they needed focusing on. It was also a great opportunity for them to try out different techniques that they would normally be hesitant to use.
A great weekend of training!!!

Taylor, Bailey and Kamden spent the weekend at the ATU Nationals in Atlanta. Thank you to Master Dennis White and Master Stricker for Coaching the boys and preparing for the event. Each of them are improving, learning and taking more control of their matches.
Taylor lost to the eventual winner of his bracket but he used new techniques including landing his first spinning hook kick to the head and had he hit the helmet harder an axe kick.
Bailey won 2 fights to receive BRONZE but walks away with a lot confidence from how he performed. He showed trust in himself and his abilities that should only help move him forward.
Kamden won 3 fights to win GOLD and also was asked to do an exhibition match that he won another GOLD. He was commended for how smart he is on the mat by an observing coach who had never seen him fight.
We look forward to watching all 3 of these young men continue training hard and improving.

We would like to Congratulate a few individuals for earning their Black Belts this weekend. These students have now been rewarded for the years of training and dedication to Taekwondo.
Master Justin Strack earned his 5th Degree Black Belt.
Instructor Scott Lewis is now Master Scott Lewis by earning his 4th Degree Black Belt.
Daniel has earned his 3rd Degree Black Belt.
Caroline, Anne and Kamden have all earned their 1st Degree Black Belt.
A special thank you to Grand Master Abdul and Master John Burkart for conducting the testing process for these individuals.

UPDATE: 10,000 Kick Challenge
Congratulations to Ryan for completing the 10,000 Kick Challenge and testing for his High-Green belt. Working hard everyday and putting in the extra work with his kicks.

We had a great Color Belt Testing this morning with amazing students and amazing families. Our students continue to work hard and persevere through everyday life challenges and the challenges we present them in class.
We are very proud of each and everyone of you.
Next up Black Belt Testing in a few weeks.

UPDATE: 10,000 Kick Challenge
We have our first two students to reach 10,000 kicks and it just happens to be a Mother and Son combo.
Congratulations to James for being the first to complete the challenge and to Sarah for being right behind him. It was amazing watching this young man and his Mother work together to reach their goal. They both would start before class and stay after class to put in the work.
We are very proud of James for completing this challenge. Sarah impressed us all in the short amount of time it took her to do so many kicks.

As the Summer comes to an end so does the major tournaments. Taylor, Bailey, and Kamden competed at the USAT Nationals in San Antonio at the Alamo Dome.
All three boys fought very hard throughout their matches and continue to show improvement. This being their first time at USAT Nationals which is considered the next level; we consider their performances a success.
We greatly appreciate Master Dennis White for coaching all three of these young men.

UPDATE: 10,000 Kick Challenge
Congratulations to Colton and Ryan for reaching 5,000 kicks in our challenge; they are halfway there. They have pushed each other the way only brothers can; "I have 10 more than you". With that encouragement each of them are well on their way to 10,000.
