10U MARA Mustangs are transitioning to the 12U Carolina Bulldogs in Fall 2020. The team is still looking to fill a couple of spots with 09 players. Strong 2010 players will be considered. The team will continue to focus on fun, fundamentals, growth, and development. The wins come by building a good foundation and letting the team play as tight knit sisterhood. The 10U MARA Mustangs Travel/Tournament Softball team is preparing for the Fall 2020 season. We are currently looking for fill a few final roster spots as we prep for the 10U and transition to 12U tournaments this season. We holding open practice/tryouts this coming Tuesday and Thursday to fill these remain open positions. MARA Mustangs 10U is looking for a few committed, athletic, positive, and coachable 2009 players to round out our team and softball family. We are a competitive team based out of Matthews NC looking for girls that have a love of the game and are looking to continue to grow as team mates and individuals. All positions are being considered. Come see what we are about!

Another weekend done, another tournament done. Gold bracket runner up finish losing to a very strong team from W. Va. One leadoff hitter and shortstop went down to a hand injury in the last inning of the semi final game. The girls pulled together and played for their hurt teammate. They went into the championship game fighting ready. They fought it out to the last out. I am so proud of this great group of girls. It is a privilege coaching them. A big thank you to our guest player Gretchen for helping is out filling in for another of our injured Mustangs.

The team continues to amaze me.
We spent 2 hours doing community service at Loaaves and Fishes and won a great game of basketball against a great team. We fought for every point and defended every minute. Awesome team effort today.

Another tournament championship in the books. These MARA Mustangs are now 5 for 7 tournaments in making it to the championships with 3 championships and 2 runners up. Not bad for a new team. We continue to improve game to game, tournament to tournament. It is great to see the girls click and come together.

10U MARA Mustangs bringing home the Championship in their 5th tournament.
The team started in July after pulling together a great group of girls looking to take their play to the next level. Since the season started on August 24, this team has played 5 tournaments with a record of 16 W and 6 L with 2 Runners Up and 2 Championships. The team has scored 185 runs in these 22 games played so far. We have more tournaments yet to play. So proud of these girls.

Finished the Fight Like a Girl tournament this weekend. Got a free paid berth for the team with the coaches and I dressing up. Went 2 and 2 yesterday. Ended 2 and 1 today for a weekend of 4 and 3 coming in runners up in the Silver bracket playing against a very strong team in then championship game. Can't wait to get back on the field to work with the girls and bounce back stronger.
