I want to thank our students for their awesome efforts at yesterday's tournament. They earned 7 first places and 3 second places in 10 events. Additionally, they took home the male and female under black belt grand championships for kata. A special thanks to our dojo parents and families that madenthe trip and supported our competitors.

I know most of our students would get to class, sleet, snow, tidal wave, pretty much whatever.
In an abundance of caution however, due plummeting temperatures this evening and the likely refreeze and questionable road conditions, Toma dojo will be closed on Monday, Jan. 26.

Be safe if you must be out. Stay warm and see you in the mars tomorrow.

It was a pleasure to be part of the 15th annual Okinawan Karate Dojo tournament. I want to thank our amazing students that made the long journey from Carolina to Maryland. Their skill and dedication was recognized with first place finishes in all divisions. Congratulations and see everyone back on the mats soon.
