Happy New Year!!! Are you ready to be more active with your new year resolution but aren’t sure where to start? Take a look at your average steps. Whether it be on a fitness watch or your phone. Whatever your average steps are, add 1000-2000 more steps as your step goal. Park in a further parking spot at the store. Take a short walk after lunch. Small change is easier to adapt to and give better long term results!

Everyone is eager to start their fitness journey for 2025. When you are setting your goals remember to make them realistic! Several small goals will lead you to the bigger goals. Setting the bar too high will leave you feeling overwhelmed, defeated, and will give the urge to give up. Be patient with yourself, give yourself grace, and enjoy the journey! It doesn’t have to be hard!!

Goal TIPS!

1️⃣ Calories! Set a calorie goal that fits your needs. Losing weight is calories in vs calories out. Setting the deficit will allow you to lose pounds.

2️⃣ Protein! Get your protein in… set a protein goal of at least your goal weight in grams. If your goal weight is 160 lbs, then you will want to intake 160 grams of protein.

3️⃣ Carbs! Everyone shys away from carbs. This is your main source of energy. Match your protein with good clean carbs.

Cook Time: 0 minutes

INGREDIENTS:

1/4 Cup Smooth Peanut Butter
1/4 Cup Sugar-Free Pancake Syrup
4 Scoops Salted Caramel 1st Phorm Collagen with Dermaval

DIRECTIONS:

For this recipe, you'll need:

• 1 Small Mixing Bowl
• Mixing Spoon

1. In a small bowl, stir together the peanut butter and pancake syrup.

2. While stirring the mixture, slowly pour in collagen until all of it is well combined.

3. Serve with fruit for dipping and enjoy (apples are best)!

I often hear of people jumping on the fad diet cycle to only be disappointed when it either doesn’t work or they lost the weight only to gain it right back. What some do not realize is it’s not the “diet” that doesn’t work. It’s that the diet is not within that individual’s lifestyle. It’s not worth the continued commitment. All diets have one thing in common, a calorie deficit. The calorie deficit is what causes weight loss. Now, what if I told you I can make living with that calorie deficit easier by slowly adjusting habits and learning healthier choices?? We do it by removing the “Diet” and replacing it with “Lifestyle”! via ripl.com
