The Matawan Huskies Softball Club is excited to announce the formation of our new 8U team for the 2026-2027 season!

We invite all athletes interested in becoming part of the Huskies family to join us for a FREE workout and parent information session:

🔥 8U Huskies Off to a Hot Start! 🔥

The 8U Huskies opened their summer league season in New Egypt with an impressive doubleheader sweep, earning 17-5 and 15-3 victories!

The Huskies’ bats were on fire all day, the defense was outstanding, and the girls made their first-ever unassisted triple play! 🥎

This group has developed into a strong, confident team that continues to improve every time they take the field. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and can’t wait to see what the future holds for these young Huskies.

After monitoring the weather forecast throughout the day, we have made the decision to cancel tonight’s clinic.

With temperatures expected to be in the high 90s 🔥, along with a heavy storm ⛈️ forecasted during the scheduled clinic time, we felt it was best to be safe rather than sorry.

To make up for the missed session, we will be adding an additional clinic on June 10.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

If you haven’t signed up for the Huskies Clinic for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders but would like to participate, please see our pinned post and complete the Google form!

Congratulations to our 8U Huskies on an incredible first tournament experience down in Stafford, NJ! 🥎🔥

Battling the heat and tough competition, these girls fought their way all the way to the semifinals before falling to the #1 seed by just two runs in a hard-fought game. What an amazing effort!

Special shoutout to Maryn for launching TWO home runs over the 8U fence! 💣💣

The progress these girls are making has been incredible. Keep working, keep battling, and keep growing! 💪❤️

Congratulations to our First Year 12U Matawan Huskies on an outstanding day in Long Valley, NJ! The girls battled their way to a 3-1 record and finished as Tournament Runners Up after an incredible hard fought 8 inning Championship game! 💪🥎

We couldn’t be more proud of our fantastic athletes and the development shown through their hard work and a huge congratulations as well to Coach Mike and his coaching staff for all the time they have put in!
