Light North wind early AM provides sight casting opportunities. Many fish spotted and caught. My brother Chris and I were able to land 4 reds out of one of the larger schools. Both casting, hooking up and landing good fish at the same time…. twice. Flounder were also active!

Purple and Chartreuse from Down South Lures was hot this weekend. A former backlash came back to haunt me on a really nice trout and cost me landing it,but overall really good weekend.

Trout were the winners of the weekend. Wind out of the East made discovering new water a focus. Lots of under slot but a couple limits of keepers as well. All released to maybe grow some more and catch another day……

Last weekend in Matagorda was a little slow but managed some and the boys were entertaining to say the least. Brother/Uncle/Dad/Son trip is always a good time.
