BIG SHOUTOUT to our Food Sponsors! These wonderful restaurants and organizations will be making sure everyone has a full stomach at the Captains Dinner/Meeting on Thursday night! All are welcome to join us for dinner and entertainment! $20 donation for people not fishing the tournament. See y’all tomorrow night!

Texas Trio Trout Rules 2026💥💥(Preliminary)
FINAL RULES WILL BE HANDED OUT THURSDAY💥
1. All Speckled (spotted sea) Trout will be caught, then videoed while weighing and releasing live fish.
2. Each team will be provided with 2 scales @ Thursday night’s Captain’s Meeting/Dinner. Extra scales will be available for purchase.
3. All scales used for tournament will be either provided by or purchased from Trio Tournament Committee.
4. Maximum of 3 scales per team can be used during the tournament.
5. Items of the day will be provided Friday & Saturday morning during team check-in/release.
6. Any tampering with tournament scales in an effort to change calibration will result in automatic disqualification.
7. A minimum weight of 2.5 lbs required for all trout videos to be submitted. There is no limit of video submissions. Only 1 trout weight per team will be counted towards score. Please only submit videos if weight is bettering any previous submissions.
8. Each fish to be weighed only once. No pre-weighing of fish with any digital device. If trout does not meet minimum weight the video does not need to be submitted.
9. Teams will be provided 3 phone #’s at Captain’s Meeting for video submissions. All videos need to be submitted to all 3 in a group text.
10. Video sequence will need to start with Team Name and Name of Angler. The video will need to show close up of scales @ 0.00, fish lip gripped with scale, fish lifted completely out of water, clear close up of the fish completely out of water w/ weight on scale w/ HOLD showing on scale, and release of fish swimming away.
11. Videos will be acknowledged with a ✅ once video is received and verified.
12. POLYGRAPH WILL BE PERFORMED. By signing release form each morning, each contestant agrees to submit to a polygraph test. RESULTS OF POLYGRAPH ARE FINAL.
