Abortion seems to be a big issue on the campaign ( aka - reproductive rights ). Roe was overturned and that was the right thing to do - constitutionally speaking. That is a fact that seems to keep being overlooked. The states have (and should have all along ) been left alone by the federal government and the tenth amendment says so.

I do not agree with abortion. The “exceptions” such as r**e, in**st and danger to the mother are just that….exceptions. A baby shouldn’t be killed in the name of “reproductive freedom” or other such grouping of words that attempt to justify that murder.

Here’s a thought….. if you don’t like the laws your state has….. move. And guess what?…. The constitution gives you that right also.

The right to travel is considered an "unenumerated right" of the Constitution. It's rooted in the Articles of Confederation and is considered a basic part of American liberty.

It’s a sad state of the nation we are currently in. Truth. I want the truth. I want to believe but it’s impossible to believe anything anymore because all we are being fed by ALL media is lies and half truths.

I would like to think I’m a reasonably intelligent person but I’m more confused and worried about the future of our nation because I’m not being offered the truth.

Don’t be fooled into thinking you know the truth either…. The media shapes your beliefs and EVERY news outlet is lying to you….

This latest school shooting in Georgia. The father was charged.

I’m thinking that these charges are justified. Allthough the constitution verifies the right to bear arms, the responsibility that comes along with the right can’t be ignored.

How is it that when a Republican says that Kamala was a DEI hire it is considered racist and/or sexist? A fact is a fact. Biden was very clear in his statements in the 2020 campaign that he was going to select a woman of color (for VP and for the Supreme Court). Not one time did he state or suggest he was going to select the best and/or most qualified candidate.

But when President Biden states that he would prefer to have a women of color as his VP everybody is expected to cheer.

Biden chose her BECAUSE she was female and of color. That, by definition, is racist and sexist and, fittingly, a DEI hire (or selection).

I’ll go further and say this: If you place your vote on a candidate because they are white, black, brown, female, male, gay, straight or any other “unqualified” reason, you are stupid at minimum and possibly much worse.

Wouldn’t it be nice if the candidates were chosen based solely on their ability to perform the elected job duties?

So I went fishing yesterday. I didn’t catch a single fish. I don’t ever recall being skunked while fishing. It’s very unusual as I’m one of the greatest fishermen to ever live.

I went with my granddaughter who isn’t quite two years old yet.

BEST fishing trip EVER….!
