The weather is breaking and fishing season is once again here. Had some extra help stocking the lake this year and we had a blast. All fish @ earl lake are stocked as fingerlings 2-4 inches from a local fish farm in amish country. No fish are fed. The fish rely on a balanced ecosystem to grow and reproduce. A good balance of forage to predator to scavenger fish are required for a healthy pond. We add new fish periodically for fresh genetics to mix in with our reproducing fish.

Fishing is sunrise and sunset, $7 for adults $6 for children under 12 and veterans. You don't need a fishing license, swimming not included.

P.S. there are no bathrooms open for fishing so take that into account, we do not sell bait, and our yellow mailbox honor system requires you to pay with exact change before you start fishing, you can leave and come back and continue fishing the same day as long as you already paid.

Fishing is starting to heat up. Rates are $7 for adults $6 for children(10-), seniors(65+) and veterans.

People always ask about which entrance. If you use Google Maps the address 607 Earl Road NW Massillon will get you to the proper driveway. Parking is next to the Red Gate. There are brown garages to the left of the parking with signs explaining the lake and where to pay. Payment is to be placed in the mailbox on the garage. The lake features a walking trail which gives you access to the entire Lake.

As Summer transitions into Fall the majority of the summer picnics are over and we have a lot of openings available for this year. Earl Lake is an excellent place to have your Oktoberfests, fall cookouts, family get-togethers, and other autumn activities.
